San Diego

Came back from TSRI on friday with good things in my head; must call on Wednesday to make sure everything is still OK, but I'm probably moving this summer. Current mix of emotions, in order of quantity: excitement, relief, sadness.

Turned 22 yesterday. I feel more 22 than 21, so I suppose it's appropriate. Walked to work today and there were zero cars on California...everyone else has the day off. Quiet in lab, too.

I wrote two haiku yesterday. They aren't about nature but I like them anyway.

Sometimes late at night
when the world is so peaceful

Kendra is away
they took her to Italy
patiently I wait
